Daniel Balavoine
né le 5 février 1952 à Alençon en France, était un auteur-compositeur-interprète et musicien français. Il a commencé sa carrière à la fin des années 1960 comme chanteur de bal à Pau, où il reprenait Bob Dylan, avant d’intégrer de multiples groupes de rock. il connaît le succès en 1978 avec rôle principal de la comédie musicale Starmania et sort son premier album «Le Chanteur». En 1979.
Parmi ses plus grands succès figurent «Tous les cris les S.O.S.» une chanson écrite et composée par lui-même. Il est décédé le 14 janvier 1986 aux environs de Rharous au Mali dans un accident d’hélicoptère alors qu’il supervisait l’installation de pompes à eau dans des villages africains dans le cadre du rallye Dakar.

He started his career in the late 1960s as a ballroom singer in Pau, where he reprised Bob Dylan, before joining multiple rock bands. He was a success in 1978 with the lead role of the musical Starmania and released his first album «Le Chanteur» in 1979.
Among his greatest hits are «Tous les cris les S.O.S.» a song written and composed by himself. He died on 14 January 1986 in a helicopter accident near Rharous, Mali, while supervising the installation of water pumps in African villages as part of the Dakar rally.
