Constantin Rossi, dit Tino Rossi
est un chanteur interprète et acteur français, né le 29 avril 1907 à Ajaccio et mort le 26 septembre 1983 à Neuilly-sur-Seine. Il est le seul artiste français à avoir vendu plus de 500 millions de disques dans le monde entier.
En 1946, avec Petit Papa Noël, qu'il chante pour la première fois en public sur la scène de l'ABC en 1948, il remporte un phénoménal succès. En ce premier vrai Noël depuis 1938, voici un cantique laïc qui arrive opportunément pour restaurer la plus traditionnelle des fêtes familiales et répondre aux instructions gouvernementales (pas de chants religieux dans les écoles de la République) mises en place avec zèle par le ministre Marcel-Edmond Naegelenn. Avec sa chanson fétiche, Tino Rossi devient, en 1949, le premier chanteur français à obtenir un disque d'or et, pour la circonstance, « le seul à avoir reçu ce disque en or massif 24 carats
