Léon Blum
(9 avril 1872 - 30 mars 1950) est un homme politique socialiste français. Il fut l'un des dirigeants de la section française de l'Internationale ouvrière (SFIO), et président du conseil, c'est-à-dire chef du gouvernement français, en 1936, 1938 et 1946. Il a marqué l'histoire politique française pour avoir refusé l'adhésion des socialistes à la IIIe Internationale communiste en 1920 et pour avoir été le président du Conseil du Front populaire en 1936.

Léon Blum
(9 April 1872 - 30 March 1950) was a French socialist politician. He was one of the leaders of the French section of the Workers' International (SFIO), and chairman of the council, that is to say head of the French government, in 1936, 1938 and 1946. He marked the political history of France by refusing the socialists' membership in the Third Communist International in 1920 and by being president of the Conseil du Front populaire in 1936.
